Split pea soup

Ingredients
Saute bacon with onion, garlic and celery until bacon is browned. Add splash of vermouth (or white wine), then add peas, broth and 2 cups water. Stir in 1 tsp almond butter and plenty of fresh basil. Simmer until peas are soft.
