I use a Blendtec blender to make this. It will probably work in a Vitamix, as well, but I haven't tested it.1.5 cups organic buckwheat groats2 cups filtered waterPut in blender, process as Whole Food Juice.75 cup oats2 tsp baking powder1 Tbls cinnamon1 tsp nutmeg1 large banana (if it's really ripe, the waffle will stick more, and will need the waffle iron greased - use coconut oil)Add rest of ingredients to blender, blend until pretty smooth.Bake in waffle iron until done.
Do not use buckwheat flour. Sorry, it doesn't work.
