Trygve's Slow-Cooker Beef Stew

Ingredients
1 lb round beef steak1 c raw onions2 c raw carrots1 c frozen peas1 c diced tomatoes (no salt added)1 c water (or sodium-free vegetable broth)3 tsp worchestershire sauce3 tsp vinegar1 tbsp dried parsley1 tsp cayenne pepper1 tsp hot saucedash of black pepper (to taste)
Directions
Makes 6 servings, abt. 1 c each.

Thaw beef steak and cube into 1/2 inch cubes. Place on the bottom of the crock pot. Layer frozen peas next, followed by carrots, onions and finally tomatoes. Mix seasonings with water (or broth), vinegar, worchestershire and pour over layers in crock pot. Put lid on the pot and cook on high for 4 hours.

For those not watching carbs, it goes great with garlic bread!
