Meatballs with Spanish Sauce

Ingredients
Meatballs:1 lb. ground beef½ c. bread crumbs½ c. minced onion1 egg½ c. yogurtSalt and pepper to tasteSauce:¼ c. olive oil1 diced onion1 diced green pepper1 bay leaf2 cloves1 t. sugarSalt and pepper to taste1 piece whole wheat bread, cubed1 lb. canned tomatoes
Directions
Meatballs:
Combine ingredients; shape into balls
Place on baking sheet
Bake 375°F for 15 minutes

Sauce:
Mix and simmer for 30 minutes, using cubed bread to thicken sauce
to taste.
Add cooked meatballs; simmer 20 minutes.
