Pumpkin Date Nut Bars

Ingredients
1/4 cup canned pumpkin 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup applesauce 1 egg 3/4 cup chopped dates 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
* Preheat oven to 350*F degrees. Spray 8-inch square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.

* In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients until smooth.

* Spread batter in prepared baking pan, and bake for approximately 25-30 minutes.

* Let bars cool completely in pan before cutting.

* Eat and enjoy!
