Cabbage Noodles and Sausage

1 small head cabbage8 oz egg noodles1 lb sausage1 stick butter
Heat approximately 10 cups of water to boiling then add noodles and cook according to package directions. While waiting for water to boil, cook sausage in large frying pan or skillet over medium heat. Add 1 stick of butter (or less if so inclined). Add chopped cabbage to sausage, cover and stir occasionally. Add noodles to mixture once they have been cooked and drained. Keep covered and continue to stir occasionally until cabbage is cooked to taste. Can season with salt and pepper if desired. Serves 6-8 people.
