Tuna and Pasta with Lemon-Pepper Sauce

1 lb. of small-shell pasta15 oz. can of cut green beans2 cans of light, packed-in-water tuna (about 5 oz. each)5 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning1/2 tsp. salt1 tsp. garlic powder1/2 tsp. onion powder1/2 tsp. dried basil flakes1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes1 1/2 cups of water2 TBSP corn starch
Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain and return to pan.
Stir the can of green beans into the drained pasta.
In a separate pan, combine 1 cup of the water, the teaspoon of oil, and all dried spices and herbs, and heat on medium-high until just starting to boil.
Mix 2 TBS cornstarch into the remaining 1/2 cup of water, then stir it into the hot liquid/spice mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly, and cook 1 more minute.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the 2 cans of tuna.
Stir the tuna/sauce mixture thoroughly into the pasta/green bean mixture.
Serve hot.
Some of us like it with a little grated parmesan sprinkled over it after serving.
