Light Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 c. Whole Wheat Flour1.25 c. All-purpose Flour1/2 tsp Baking Soda1/2 tsp Salt8 Tbsp Butter or margarine4 Egg whites1 tsp Vanilla Extract1.25 c. Brown sugar1 c. Chocolate chips (dark or semisweet)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees; line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda and salt. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg whites, butter, and vanilla; stir in the brown sugar until smooth. Gradually add in the flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop dough by the tablespoon (or more for larger cookies) onto cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake one cookie sheet at a time for 10-12 minutes.

Makes 24-48 cookies.
