Turkey Chili

Ingredients
20 oz of extra lean ground turkey1 can of red kidney beans rinsed3 cans of diced or whole tomatoes ( if whole dice before using)3 Tbsp of tomato paste1/2 red onion chopped1/2 green bell pepper chopped1/2 red bell pepper chopped1 Tbsp of EV. olive oil1 package of chili seasoning mix
Directions
Makes 6 1 1/2 cup servings
Cook ground turkey in pan coated with cooking spray. remove and add to slow cooker
In same pan add the olive oil and then add onions, and both peppers. Cook over med heat until onions are translucent about 5 minutes.
Add to slow cooker
Add tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato paste and seasoning mix to slow cooker and mix throughly. Set lid on cooker and cook on high 5 hours or low for 8 hours.
