Brussels sprouts with figs and bacon

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds brussels sprouts1 Tbsp. olive oil3 slices turkey bacon, chopped1 cup chopped onion2 cloves minced garlic5 dried figs salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. Bring large pot of water to boil. Salt boiling water and blanche brussels sprouts approximately 5 minutes.
2. Heat oil in skillet.
3. Add bacon and cook until crisp.
4. Add onions and cook until clear.
5. Add garlic and figs.
6. Add brussel sprouts. Cook until sprouts are caramalized.
