I simmer the veggies (celery should be 2 cups) and a chunk of chicken breast in the broth before blending. I blend part of the breast and cut up the rest to add after blending. For a "Greek Soup" after you blend the soup, add juice of 1/4 lemon and stir in some leftover cooked cauliflower "rice. - 9/29/12

The more you eat the more "cream of chicken" flavor I taste. I made mine in the pressure cooker then pureed in my Ninja. - 6/24/15

I love this soup. Very tasty. Just like "Antiochia" I simmered the veggies in the broth with some chunks of chicken (about 10 minutes) before blending. I added a few more small pieces of chicken after. Excellent. - 3/3/15

I created an account just to rate this soup. It is great! I add more basil and more of all the spices actually. Like other reviewers I ensure it is thoroughly pulsed and blended. Simmer for the full 30 minutes.rich and hearty! P.S. I double the batch and refrigerate for a quick reheated meal. Yum! - 6/25/12

Wow this was delicious! I made sure I blended it thoroughly and cooked it long enough! I was craving a hot soup on this wintry day and it hit the spot! - 1/23/12

A Very tasty soup! I used a Vitamix to puree my ingredients and it ended up with a creamy grainy type texture. I actually had to add water to it because the spices were a bit strong. My five year old gave it two thumbs up! - 4/2/11

Not very impressed with this one. Not sure if I should have pureed longer, but had quite a bit of crunchy bits left and not really creamy at all. I'd eat it again if I needed to finish off ingredients but not high on my list to rush and make again. - 2/1/11
