Tomato & Basil Soup

Ingredients
Canola Oil, 1 tbspOnions, raw, 1.5 cup, choppedGarlic, 9 tsp Vegetable Broth, 3.5 cupRed Ripe Tomatoes, 4 cup, chopped or slicedTomato Paste, 0.5 cup Basil, 3 tbsp Salt, 1 dash Pepper, black, 1 dash Lemon Juice, .50 cup Butter (I can't believe it's not butter light), 1/2 cup*Cheese (Philly light cream cheese), 1 stick
Directions
In a large saucepan, bring the tomatoes and broth to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add basil and sugar. Reduce heat to low; stir in cream cheese and butter. Cook until butter is melted
