Ingredients
Directions
2 Chicken Breasts, no skin or bones6 Large Carrots, sliced ~ 1/2 "6 Large Celery Stalks, slice ~ 1/2"1 Medium Potato, diced w/ some skin3 Tsp. Chicken Flavored Soup Base1/2 Tsp. Pepper4 Cups Water
Cook the chicken in a frying pan. To keep it juicy, I use a little canola oil and cover it on med to med/high until thoroughly cooked.
Wash your vegetables to keep any pesticides, chemicals, dirt etc. out of the flavor of your stew.
Place the chicken, sliced carrots, sliced celery, diced potato ( I like to leave a little skin on. ) water, soup base, and pepper in your crock pot.
Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5 hours. I recommend low, it allows the chicken to naturally break apart. Bon Appetit.
