INGREDIENTS LIST:2 cups whole wheat flour2 tablespoons sugar (or sugar substitute)1 tablespoon baking powder1/4/ teaspoon salt4 large egg whites, lightly beaten4 tablespoon sunflower oil (or Canola oil)2 cups nonfat milk1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Preheat waffle maker
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Beat egg whites lightly.
Add oil (sunflower or Canola)
Add vanilla extract
Mix egg whites/oil/vanilla mixture.
Combine flour and egg mixture.
Cook in waffle maker according to your waffle maker’s instructions.
Batter yields about 6 servings. Each serving is 2 waffles (rectangle).
Freeze leftovers. Reheat frozen waffles in a toaster.
