Crescent Taco Bake

Ingredients
1 pound Laura's Lean ground beeef (8 %)1 roll reduced fat crescent rolls1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped1/2 red bell pepper, chopped1 cup onion, chopped1 pkg Old El Paso Taco Seasoning4 Tbsp hot sauce2 -8 oz can no salt added tomato sauce1 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese1 15 oz can pinto beans, drained
Directions
Spray 9X13 pan with Pam. Roll out crescent rolls into pan, pinching together the seams and making the rolls fit the pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 minutes. In another pan, saute the ground beef, onion, green and red pepper, until brown and onion and peppers are soft. Add taco seasoning, tomato sauce and hot sauce ( add this to taste). Add beans. Pour oover crescent rolls and returm to oven for 12 minutes. Add cheese and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Cut into 8 portions.

    Good recipe! Used salsa instead of cutting up my own veggies and tomato sauce. Had a hard time keeping each serving from falling apart when putting on plate. - 2/2/11
