Squash Biscuits

Ingredients
2 cups flour1/2 cup oatmeal4 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt2 tbsp brown sugar1 egg, beaten1/3 cup canola oil1 1/2 cup butternut squash, cooked and mashed1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix dry ingredients. Mix liquid ingredients. Combine.
Drop by spoonfuls onto un-greased cookie sheet.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes.

Note: Adjust to desired consistency by adding a little milk or flour. Other kinds of winter squash can be used. Dried herbs can be added.
