Cheddar Muffin Melt

Ingredients
6 english muffins, split and toasted6 oz.mild cheddar cheese (block)6 tbsp bacon bits6 tbsp margarine12 slices fresh tomato
Directions
Toast the english muffins lightly, then spread margarine on each half. Add 1/8" slices of mild cheddar to the top, making sure to not let it extend over the sides. Place in oven on broil until the cheese has melted. Shake bacon bits onto the melted cheese, then top with a tomato slice.
Makes 6 servings.
