Ingredients
olden Temple Durum Atta (wheat) Flour, 1.5 cup*Daikon Radish, fresh, 1 cup *Canola Oil, 2.5 tbsp Salt, 1 dash Turmeric, ground, 1 tsp *chilli powder, 1 tsp
Directions
Grate the daikon and sprinkle some salt and leave aside for 10minutes. The water comes out and squeeze dry the daikon.

Use the water to make a hard dough using the flour, 1tbsp oil. Let the dough rest for 30min.

Saute the daikon with turmeric, salt , remaining oil, chilli powder till there is no moisture left.

Then cut the dough into 12 balls. Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball into a thick 5 inch flat disc and spoon some daikon stuffing and then pull the ends to seal the ball and then flatten it out thinly and make sure the stuffing does not leak out.

Roast this thin disc on the hot pan and flip it to the other side when done on one side.

this recipe makes 12 servings.
Can be served with cool yogurt or chutney or just eaten plain.
Mashed potatoes or grated carrots can be used instead of Daikon.,
