In a bowl Mix 2 cups brown sugar with 1 cup of Boiling waterMix wellIn an other bowl mix, Flour, shortening, white sugar, egg, salt, baking powder, milkvanilla
Directions
Use 8 X 10 pyrex dish
Empty water and brown sugar
Pour other mixed ingredients on top of the sirup
Cook 35 minutes in pre-heated oven at 350
