Butternut Squash Soup

Ingredients
* Butternut Squash, 6 cup, cubes * Brown Sugar, 1 cup, packed * Granny smith apple - 2 * *Spiced Apple Cider, 8.5 oz * Water, tap, 5 cup (8 fl oz) * Butter, unsalted, 2 tbsp * Milk, 1%, 1 cup Cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves to taste
Directions
Makes 8 1 cup servings

Combine butter, squash and brown sugar in a large pot and sautee until squash is softened.

Add apples, cider, water, spices and bring to a boil

Simmer for 30 minutes and cool slightly. Puree in a blender in small batches until smooth.

Add milk and heat. Serve garnished with sour cream (not included in calorie count) or julienned apple or pear slices.
