Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees
on stove top, in 2 cast iron skillets, put half of the butter, half of the brown sugar and half of the apples in each skillet, cook until golden. about 15 minutes.
in a batter bowl, mix until smooth:
eggs
milk
vanilla extract
all-purpose flour
salt
Pour batter over cooked apples, half in each skillet, then place both skillets in oven and bake for about 15 minutes.
serve immediatly, sprinkled with the powdered sugar
