Steel Cut Oats - 1 cupGround Turkey - 1 to 1.3 lbsSeasonings to taste
In a pot, add oats, a pinch of salt and 4 cups water.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce to simmer, cook for 25 minutes, or until oats are at desired tenderness.
In a skillet, cook turkey adding desired spices (I like salt, garlic powder, onion powder and Adobo)
Once turkey is browned, add to the oats and mix.
Makes 5 roughly 1-cup servings.
Divide into separate containers and refrigerate to have breakfast for an entire week. Re-heat in a microwave for 2 minutes before eating, or eat cold if preferred.
