Spicy Pumpkin Soup

2c canned pumpkin1c coconut MILK1 1/2c chicken broth1tsp Cumin2 Bay leaves (they didn't even weigh a gram on my scales)
Throw all the ingredients into a heavy bottomed pot. Cook on medium heat until just bubbling. Stir occasionally. Turn heat down to simmer for the remainder of the 25 minutes. Collect the bay leaves. Season with salt 7 pepper to taste (I never add salt). Garnish with a few pumpkin seeds. Serves 6.
