Inside Out Turkey Tamale Pie--Crockpot

16 oz 93% lean ground turkey3/4 c. yellow cornmeal1 c. chicken broth14.5 oz can chopped tomatoes3/4 c. frozen corn kernels1/2 c. black olives sliced, drained2 T. chili powder1 T. ground cumin
Brown turkey in skillet, drain excess fat, add to crockpot.
Whisk cornmeal into chicken broth and let sit for 5 minutes, then add to crockpot.
Add other ingredients to crockpot and mix well.
Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
Yields 7 1-cup servings.
Optional--serve with lowfat cheddar or lowfat sour cream. You could also add 1/2 c. black or kidney beans to up the protein content (the nutritionals will change), but I left them out because I am the only one in the family who likes beans. To add more heat, use canned tomatoes with chiles or fire-roasted tomatoes.
