Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients
1 8oz. package of mushrooms1 tbsp of olive oil1tbsp of flour1 cup of watersalt pepperground sage
Directions
Serves 6 1/4 cup servings

sautee the mushrooms in olive oil. Add water and seasonings and simmer for a couple minutes. Then wisk the flour in. Simmer for a few more minutes. Serve with porkchops

    The sage was a nice addition to my normal recipe. The only change made to the original recipe is that I used whole wheat flour. I will definitely use this recipe again and maybe change the flour again to see how many other variations are possible with this simple recipe. - 6/24/19

    I like the flavor of this gravy just as much as the recipe I usually use, but this is lower in sodium and simpler to make (the other recipe uses bouillon). I will make again. Thanks! - 5/20/11
