Ingredients
Cranberries, 18 oz (fresh)Cranberry juice, 2.5 cupsGala Apples, 4- peeled, cored, and diced into small chunksGranulated Sugar, .5 cupCinnamon, ground, 1.25 Tbl.Cornstarch, 1 Tbl.
Directions
Rinse fresh cranberries off. In medium size saucepan, add the cranberries, 2.5 cups of cranberry juice, 4 peeled/ cored/diced apples (I like Gala), and 1/2 cup of sugar. On medium to high heat, bring to a boil for approx. 5-6 minutes while stirring constantly. *You will hear the cranberries popping as they split open/cook. Add cinnamon and turn heat to low. Remove 8-10 oz. of the liquid (try not to get the berries and apples) and in a separate bowl, whisk cranberry liquid w/ cornstarch until there smooth. Add cornstarch/cranberry liquid back into saucepan. Cook over medium heat for another 5 minutes while constantly stirring. When mixture has thickened, put in serving dish and cool in refrigerator at least 3 hours prior to serving. *Can be made the night before.

Makes 64- 2Tbl. servings.
