5 chicken breasts, chopped1 pkg. lean, hot, smoked turkey sausage1 T olive oil1 cup celery,k chopped3/4 c. parsley, chopped1 bag frozen peppers 'n onions4 garlic cloves, chopped2 cups chicken broth1 cup green onions, chopped1 6 oz. can tomato paste1.5 t thyme2 bay leaves2 t oregano1 t chili powder1 t. salt1/2 t. cayenne pepper (1 for more fire)1 t. black pepper3 lbs. cooked shrimprice, if desired
saute sausage, saute celery, peppers 'n onions, parlsey, garlic in sausage juices, dump everything but shrimp in crock. Cook. 1 hour before serving, dump shrimp in.
