Ingredients
Beans, bouillon cubes, salt, water, hard boiled egg, palm oil, Jalapeno and chilli peppers, onion
Directions
pick debris from beans, wash and soak for about 15 minutes. Rub beans between palms until skin comes off ( you can use the pulse button on the blender intermittently with a little water to get the skin off). Wash repeatedly until almost all skin is off. Add beans, onions, water and peppers and blend together until smooth. pour out the paste into a bowl and add the chopped up egg, salt and bouillon cubes to taste and the palm oil (use can decide to use olive oil). mix in one direction until every thing is mixed and the colour is even. Pour out into a greased baking dish, cover with foil and put into a pre-heated oven between the 220 degc mark and let it cook for about 20-30 minutes. When it is set, bring it out and let it cool.
Alternatively, you can put it in a microwave for about 10 minutes (do not use foil in the microwave, you can use muffin pans and cover with perforated film).
When cooled, serve.

Broad beans is okay but traditionally we use brown beans, it is close to pinto beans and sometimes we use black eyed beans. - 6/18/11
