Danish Aebleskiver (1 Round pancake)

Ingredients
* Margarine like spread, approximately 60% fat, .5 cup * Milk, 1%, 1 cup * *Flour, white, 1.5 cup * Salt, .5 tsp * Egg, fresh, 3 large * Granulated Sugar, 6 tsp * Baking Powder, 2 tsp * Cardamom, ground, .5 tsp
Directions
Blend butter, egg yolks, milk & sugar. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cardamom. Stir dry ingredients into egg yolk mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Fold egg whites into flour-egg mixture.

May put jam, applesauce or 1 almond per batch (at Christmas in center before turning) Turn pancakes with knitting needle or long skewer.
