I substituted olives for the mushrooms since DH will not eat them, but I wanted the textural element. This was really good. We had guests over and everyone loved it. - 4/24/08

I saw someone used Basil, Thyme, and Oregano with an extra can of tomatoes, due to not having Ragu. How much of these spices should I use, if I want to do the same? - 2/6/10

Really liked this one. Even my one year old ate some. A little bland but that is good for my daughter. When she is older we might try adding some spices. - 1/22/11

It was good. I did have to add an extra can of sauce, as it was dry. Thanks for sharing! - 10/27/10

I also substituted ground turkey and added some parmesan. I didn't add any extra sauce because it had much more than enough! This makes a lot of servings though...much more than the stated six. My daughter LOVED it. How do I figure out the new calories with the ground turkey? - 8/17/10

looks good, except in the recipe it says to use 6 cups of pasta (1 cup per person) and in the nutrient breakdown it only accounts for one cup of pasta total (0.17 cups per a person). With the correct amount of pasta it would drive the calorie and carb content way up. - 1/11/10

Very good. I'm from Denmark and couldn't get Ragu pasta sauce so I used an extra can of diced tomatoes and some thyme, basil and oregano. - 10/21/09
