Butternut Squash Soup (Betty Crocker's Slow Cooker recipe)

Ingredients
1 butternut squash, peeled & cubed2 cups applesauce1 medium onion, diced1 can ready-to-serve chicken broth1/2 tsp ground ginger1/4 tsp saltLAST 15 MINUTES OF COOKTIME:1 cup sour cream
Directions
mix all ingredients in the slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 8 hours (or on HIGH for 3-5 hrs). Puree in batches in blender (although I do it right in the crock pot with a mixer wand, YMMV). Add a cup of sour cream, cook on LOW for 15 more minutes.
