Ingredients
2 lbs sirloin, cut into cubes and patted dry with a paper towel3 tbs butter, divided1 onion, diced2 cups beef broth1 cup sliced mushrooms1.5 tbs tomato paste3 tbs sherrySalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Pat the sirloin dry with a paper towel and brown in batches in the butter. (Can make this more healthy by omitting the butter. Comes out to 353 a serving instead of 404).
Add beef and remaining ingredients to a slow cooker and cook over low for about 4 hours.
