Beef & Tortilla Mexican Lasagna

Ingredients
1/2 lb extra lean (95%) ground beef1/2 cup chopped onion1/2 cup chopped green pepper1/2 cup chopped red pepper1/2 teaspoon crushed basil1 8 oz can tomato sauce (low sodium if you can find it)1 cup salsa1 cup nonfat cottage cheese1/2 cup Old El Paso Salsa & Cheese dip7oz of Baked Tortilla Chips - crushed
Directions
Makes about 6 1 1/2 cup servings

Preheat oven to 350
Cook beef, peppers, black petter and basil in a nonstick skillet until beef is no longer pink
stir in tomato sauce and 1/2 cup salsa
remove from heat

Combine cottage cheese and nacho dip in a small bowl

Coat an 9x9 baking dish with cooking spray

to assemble:
place 1/2 of crushed chips in bottom of baking dish. Top with 1/2 the beef mixture.
Spread 1/2 the cheese mixture over turkey mixture.
Repeat Layers once
Top with remaining crushed chips and pour remaining salsa evenly over chips.

Bake 30 minutes
