8 medium potatoes, diced1 large head of cabbage, shredded, or sliced extremely thinoil for frying1 tsp paprika, or chili powder if you want it hot2 tbls mustard seed1tsp turmeric1 tsp salt1 tbsp corianderlemon juice to sprinkle over cooked veggies
pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. put enough oil to coat bottom of a roasting pan. heat in oven, then add mustard, paprika and turmeric. heat until mustard seeds start to crackle and pop, then add potatoes. stir to coat, then cook about 10 minutes. add cabbage and stir again. if it's drying out, add 1/4 c water to keep from sticking to bottom. cover and cook til poatoes are tender, then add salt, coriander, and stir. finally, sprinkle lemon juice over top, stir and serve.
