Easy Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
Directions
1 tsp Olive Oil2 cloves garlic, minced1 cup mushrooms, sliced1 cup Chicken Stock, low sodium2 tbsp Sour Cream1 tsp Soy SauceSalt & Pepper to taste
Heat Olive Oil in small saucepan
Add garlic & saute for 1 minute
Add sliced mushrooms and saute for 2 minutes or until half cooked, add salt and pepper to taste
Add in Chicken stock (we use low sodium but whatever you have on hand works)
Bring to a boil and simmer until beginning to reduce (sauce will remain a bit liquidy, not as thick as traditional gravy)
Add sour cream while stirring constantly to avoid lumps
Add soy sauce
Simmer for 2-3 minutes
Makes 4 servings
*To speed up the thickening, we usually add Velotine or gravy thickener.
