Slow Cooker Five-Spice Apple Crisp

Butter, unsalted, 3 tbsp (melted)Golden Delicious Apples, 6 medium peeled, cored and cut into .1/2''-inch thick slicesLemon juice, 2 tsp.Light Brown Sugar, 1/4 Cup*Chinese Five-Spice Powder, 1/4 tsp8 Chinese style Almond cookies coarsley crushed or almond biscotti
1. Brush 4 1/2- quart slow cooker with melted butter. Add apples and lemon juice; toss to combine. Sprinkle with brown sugar and five spice powder- toss again.
2. Cover; cook on LOW 3.5 hours or until apples are tender. Sprinkle cookies over apples. Spoon into bowls and serve warm. Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon.
