Jewish Apple Cake

Ingredients
4 med apples, sliced (granny smith recommended)1Tbsp cinnamon3Tbsp sugar3Cups flour1Tbsp baking owder2Cups sugar1Cup oil.25 (1/4) Cup orange juice4 Eggs2 1/2 tsps vanilla extract
Directions
Combine apples, cinnamon and 3 Tbsps sugar in bowl; mix well. Sift flour, baking powder and 2 cups sugar into large bowl. Combine oil, orange juice, eggs and vanilla in medium bowl;mix well. Add to dry ingredients; mix well. Spoon half the batter into greased tube pan. Top with apple mixture. Spoon in remaining batter. Bake at 350degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Yield: 16 servings.
