- 2/3 cup shortening
- 1/4 + 2 tbsp Splenda Sugar Blend for Baking
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup Egg Beaters
- 4 tsp Milk, 1%
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour, sifted
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 4 tsp milk
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour, sifted
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
This recipe is Mama Saunders' Sugar Cookies which is a HUGE favorite around our house though they don't usually make into cookie form!
- Thoroghly cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, beat unti light and fluffy. Stir in milk.
- Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture.
- Divide dough in half. Chill 1 hour.
- On lightly floured surface, rol to 1/8 inch thickeness. Cut in desired shapes with cutters.
- Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375°F for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Cool slightly. Remove from pan.
- Cool on rack. Decorate.
