Healthy Bran muffins

1 cup of flour1 1/2 cups of wheat bran1/2 cup of brown sugar6 tbsp of ground flax1 tsp of baking powder1 tsp of baking soda1/2 tsp of salt1/2 tsp of vanilla3/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce1 cup of buttermilk
Pre heat oven to 375 line pan with paper liners.
Mix together bran and buttermilk and let stand 10minutes.
Mix together oil,egg,sugar, applesauce and vanilla add to the buttermilk mixture.
Mix flour , ground flax,baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Stir the dry and liquid mixtures together...do not over mix!! Fold in rasins and walnuts stir till just blended. Put in muffin tins and bake 15-20 min.
