Banana Bread

Ingredients
1 cup sugar1/2 cup shortening2 eggs2 cups flour1 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt2 ripe banana, mashed1/2 cup walnute, chopped
Directions
Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs. Slowly add dry ingredients. Add mashed bananas and mix thoroughly. Fold in nuts. Put in loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for one hour and fifteen minutes. Makes 12 slices.

Can be doubled to make two loaves.
