Milanese Sauce

Ingredients
Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 1 cup (remove)*Garlic, Minced (2 Clove), 1 serving (remove)*bouillon powder (vegetable stock for soups), 1 serving (remove)Canned Tomatoes, 400 grams (remove)*asda tomato puree, 1 tbsp (remove)mixed dried herbs to tasteBrown Sugar, 2 tsp packed (remove)Mushrooms, fresh, 115 grams (remove)Sherry, dry, 2 fl. oz (remove)black pepper to tasteGarnish of Basil or Parsley*Healthy Choice cooked ham, 1 slice, 2 serving (remove)
Directions
4 Servings
Chop and boil together the onion,celery and garlic for 5 mins or until soft.
Add the tomatoes, puree and herbs.boil and simmer for thirty minutes.
Cook the pasta meanwhile...
put the mushrooms in the wine with a little water and 'flash' boil until most of the liquid is gone.
Add this to the tomatoes etc.
Pour over the pasta,ganish and serve
