Toms Healthy Wild Rice and Mushroom Pilaf (0.5 C/serving)

Ingredients
1 Tbsp Butter, salted8 oz. Mushrooms, fresh, sliced0.5 Cup Onions, raw, chopped1 Cup Peas, frozen0.25 Cup Almonds, slivered and roasted2 Cups White Rice, long grain0.25 Cup Wild Rice
Directions
Saute the onions and mushrooms in the butter.
Cook 1/4 wild rice in 1 cup of water for 45 minutes (it will make 1 cup, cooked) . Separately cook white rice in 3.5 cups of water (this will make 4 cups, cooked). Roast the almonds in a dry pan a few minutes, to crisp. Add all ingredients together and warm until peas are cooked. Season to taste (up to 1 t salt).
