Slow Cooker Chive & Onion Creamed Corn

4 slices bacon4 1/2 cups frozen corn kernels, thawed1 medium red bell pepper, chopped1/2 cup milk1/4 cup margarine, melted1 teaspoon sugar1/2 teaspoon sea salt1/8 teaspoon black pepper8 oz. reduced fat chive an d onion cream cheese
Cook bacon until crisp; drain & crumble. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. In cooker mix corn, bell pepper, milk, butter, sugar, salt, pepper and half of the bacon. Refrigerate remaining bacon. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours to 2 hours & 30 minutes. Stir in cream cheese. Cook on high setting 10 minutes longer. Stir well. Sprinkle with remaining bacon. Corn can be kept warm on low heat for up to 1 hour.
