Quick-en Noodle Soup

Ingredients
1 tbsp. butter1/2 c. celery, diced1/2 c. onion, diced1/2 c. carrots, diced1 clove garlic, minced4 c. chicken broth1 1/2 c. water1 1/2 c. shredded chicken meat1 1/2 c. whole wheat pasta, dry1 bay leaf1/2 tsp. sage1/2 tsp. rosemary1/2 tsp thymeSalt and pepper
Directions
Melt butter over medium-low heat in a large saucepan. Add celery, onions carrots and garlic and saute until just softened, about 5 minutes. Add chicken broth and water. Bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until pasta is cooked and all veggies are soft, about 15 minutes. Remove bay leaf before serving.

Makes 4 2-cup servings.
