Kale and Rutabaga Au Gratin (low carb recipe)

Ingredients
2 lb chopped kale2 lb Rutabaga, diced1/4 large yellow onion3 cloves garlic1 c. heavy cream1 c, water2 Tbsp butter1 Tbsp Olive Oil1 Tbsp salt7 stirs pepper mill1 c. shredded 4 cheese blend.
Directions
Melt 1 tbsp butter and Olive oil in large stock pot over medium heat. Add onion and salt and pepper and cook for 5 min, do not brown. Add garlic and continue to cook for 30 seconds. Add Kale, Rutabaga, cream and water and cook until water has evaporated and about 1 c. of sauce is left and kale has reduced in size. Put in buttered casserole dish, I used square one. Top with shredded cheese. Bake at 375 degree for 20 minutes. makes 9 servings.
