Ingredients
1 onion, chopped2Tb butter1lb cabbage, sliced thin1 quart sauerkraut (1 jar) -rinsed1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced42g (or so) Portabello mushroom, sliced6 oz stewing beef6 oz veal, cut into small pieces11 oz mixed polish sausages4 oz ham (deli)1 container beef broth (900 mL) and water1 c diced tomato1 bay leaf1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
combine ingredients. Top up with water if needed. Bring to boil, simmer for a few hours. Refrigerate, next day cook for a few more hours.

    Sounds good. I don't eat tomatoes and beef is too expesive in Poland. I will add this to my collection. - 2/18/09
