3 cups sugar1 & 1/2 cups milk2/3 cup cocoahalf stick butter1 tsp. vanilla1/2 cup chopped nuts optional
mix sugar and cocoa, then add milk. Stir until it starts to boil. Cook to soft ball stage. remove from heat add butter and vanilla. Do not stir. Let cool approx. 10 min. then stir until it thickens a bit and loses its gloss. Pour into a 8x8 pan to cool.
