Banana cake

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, butter substitute (I can't believe it's not butter stick), or margarine1 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs2 cups all purpose flour1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp baking soda1 cup mashed ripe bananas3/4 cup walnuts or pecans
Directions
Turn oven on 350 degrees. Mix softened butter and sugar together until creamy. Add 2 eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and soda, and add alternately with bananas and milk. Pour into 8 in square pan or loaf pan. Mixture will be thick. Bake for 30 -45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out cleanly.
