Nutty Wild Rice

Ingredients
1c wild rice1/3 c. white rice5 1/2 c. chicken broth3/4 c. broken pecans1 c. yellow raisinsgrated rind of 1 orange4 sliced green onions1/4 c. olive oil1/3 c. orange juice1 1/2 tsp. saltpepper to taste
Directions
Rinse wild rice thoroughly in strainer.
Place rice in medium/heavy saucepan. Add chicken stock and bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer uncovered for 45 minutes, checking after 30 minutes for doneness. Rice should not be too soft. Drain rice and transfer to bowl.
Add remaining ingredients and toss. Adjust seasonings to taste. Let stand at least 2 hours or overnight. Serve at room temperature.
