Tastes a lot like a pancake batter mix, maybe a little less sweet, but adding syrup to them makes up for any lack of sweetness. I would choose these over store bought mixes every time.

One note on cooking - unlike store mixes, they don't bubble as much when ready to flip. Pay close attention! - 2/14/10

These smell fantastic! My 2 year old ate 3 with peanut butter on them and my girls liked them as well. I thought the texture was quite heavy, but overall very delicious and great flavor. thanks for posting! - 3/28/08

These are a good lowfat choice! I've never had banana pancakes, so that is a new experience. My batter was thin, not thick. I might not serve for company, but they are still good. - 8/30/14

I halved the recipe, used white flour and a tablespoon of wheat germ, and one whole egg instead of 1.5 egg whites, I also upped the baking powder just a little. These looked heavy, but tasted light and fluffy. I put a little bit of peanut butter and maple syrup on. Lovely, will make often - so easy! - 11/8/13

These have good flavor. I had to add 1/4 cup water cause the batter was too thick. I didn't get 12 though, 9 was all I got using 1/4 measuring cup!! Also, use a spatula or spoon or something to spread out the batter once you've poured it to the griddle. 2 pancakes per serving gets ya 4.5 servings. - 10/2/12

This recipe is really good as is. I used the liquid eggs from a container and topped with peanut butter and pure maple syrup. The batter was a little thin, but they did bubble up when it was ready to flip. - 5/20/12

Made half a recipe for my husband and I. He loved them, and he normally won't eat anything healthy. I sliced another banana on top and drizzeled ammareto flavored agave. Will do these again. - 1/14/12

These sound good, but I have a question. Should the egg whites be beaten at all, or just added as is? - 11/12/11

We enjoyed them. We got 8 pancakes out of the recipe. They were pretty dense but with a little butter & syrup, they were good. - 10/16/11

The pancakes are a little dense, but they were really good. I put Mighty Maple Peanut Butter on them instead of regular syrup, and they are delicious! Thanks for sharing! - 4/27/10

Awesome! My husband even thought these were yummy and ate several of them! We made a few batches and used different fruits in each batch. Freezing them didnt even affect the flavoring or taste at all! - 3/2/10
